Steps to Maintain the Bill-wise Details in Tally.ERP 9 along with GST

To explain this properly let us assume we are selling a computer to a person at 25,000 rs and the GST applied to it is 18%. So we need to make a sales entry and also maintain the bill wise details in the tally software. The steps are –

• Go to the tally gateway and then open the accounting vouchers option.
• Choose the sales option that you see over there. Make the necessary entries.
• Up next choose the option that says sales account. It will already be set to 18% because the GST is 18%
• Select the item as computer and select quantity as 1.
• Choose the GST taxation ledgers option and then save the voucher by pressing enter.

After this has been done, one can easily track the created bill in the tally. The steps for tracking are –

• Open the gateway to the Tally option and then choose the Display option that you see there.
• Up next visit the Statement of account option seen.
• Select the Outstanding option and click on it.
• Lastly, select the option Receivables.
